Simpson Bridge is closing down

It’s not quite falling, but it will be inconvenient.

Since I was harassed for not updating for a day, I figured I would post a quick picture of the bridge in Hoquiam that will quickly consume much of my reporting and quite possible complicate traffic across the river beyond imagination.

Here is a photo I took with my phone on the way back from a 7 a.m. business meeting in Hoquiam. My phone takes much better pictures, not great, but better pictures now that I have peeled off the protective plastic coating from the lens.

For the record: 35 people looked at the blog today. It’s a new record that is probably due to all of the people I’ve been able to trick into thinking this is a page dedicated to snow photos from Spokane. Take care.
