So while at the marina yesterday, I happened to witness a strange thing — a flock of seagulls dive-bombing a sea lion that was trying to hold onto its fish.

Welcome to the Westport Marina on a cold, wet and dreary Wednesday. I stopped by to take this and a couple other pictures yesterday for Leif’s story on the upcoming salmon season. Like most assignments, I got soaked. But the marina is pretty freaking cool.

First of all, it’s been snowing here for like three days. Not sticking, but snowing, sleeting, raining, hailing and just plain dripping. It’s almost April. Apparently, it’s happening everywhere.
