Boardwalk for the Birds

So I got another bird assignment. People love birds around here.

This time I went out to the Sandpiper Trail boardwalk to talk to a biologist who counts the thousands of migratory birds every year for the Grays Harbor Shorebird Festival. Here’s my story for today.

I met refuge biologist Marian Bailey down at the boardwalk, which is kind of cool. And much better than my last bird shoot.
