This is what happens when you take a photo in the dark with your shutter speed set too fast.
It is also commonly known as art, but is often useless for community photojournalists.

My Tempest just barely made the front page today.
This lone art shot went with a thing about local cops handing out “good tickets” to kids wearing their seat belts. Apparently, my car hide away behind everyone.
I blame the fact that I had to be halfway across the county by 7:20 this morning, but my poor [...]

So here’s a couple stories from this past week I’ve been meaning to post. I’ve definitely stayed busy on top of the usual stuff.
Aberdeen Police Officers’ Guild announces “no confidence” vote against their police chief.
The Juvenile Detention Center investigation after months of bitter complaints against administrators.
Story One: An atmosphere of distrust.

So I’m just now boarding my 7:10 a.m. flight.
Thank God, Liz and I woke up at 4:30 this morning to get here. Why is it so hard to keep the planes rolling on time?
They should have this down to a science by now. Oh well. We’ll see how things go in Chicago.
Keep your fingers crossed.

Hope you didn’t blink because I’m headed home already. A great time but a little short.
So now I sit at Gate 27 at the Syrause Airport. I am tired. Everyone seems tired.
It’s still dark out.
