A tragic turn in burning case

Marlon Lee, 41, of Aberdeen, died last night.
Lee was beaten, doused with an accelerant and set on fire last week. He was left lying along the road sometime after 1 a.m. No suspects or motives have been identified.
It’s a shocking case that detectives have treated as a potential homicide since the start, but they are [...]

The week was just winding down. I sat in my cubicle feeling a little frustrated that my afternoon interview wasn’t going to work out. The scanner suddenly let out a ridiculous tone.
They announced a structure fire, but after checking [...]

Theatre murals discovered last week

The 7th Street Theatre in Hoquiam called me up last week to tell me about these lost murals.
It was pretty interesting. The people in Hoquiam are up to their ears in random historical discoveries, but this one had some nice photos to go with it.
So enjoy the happy news while it lasts.

Court & Council quotes No. ?

I’ve lost track of these things, but here are some new ones to throw in the mix with the other random things coming out of the halls of justice and civil servants:
“It’s a good idea that if you want to ask for something — you show up.” – Judge to client-less attorney.
“I’m happy to be [...]
