I put aside my vegetarianism for a meal to try the famous bear stew at the Bear Festival in McCleary today. My first dead animal in months.
It was pretty good.

As someone who has a potentially unhealthy interest in eating animals that people don’t normally eat, I must ask: What does bear taste like?
Kind of like the texture of shredded pork with more of a beef taste, but a bit spicier.
