King of the chickens

Meet Anthony Crumpler, 55, who I have dubbed the Chicken King, solely because it’s fun to say, not to poke fun or praise. He raises about 80 chickens at the edge of Hoquiam and he’s ruffling plenty of feathers.

This may be my favorite news photo ever. I snapped a photo of two deputies celebrating the end of a 90-minute standoff with a quick fist-bump as the suspect is loaded into an ambulance. Nothing says justice like a fist-bump.
