The corner stage

We played the corner stage outside (Stage 2) on Sunday afternoon, rocking the beer garden. Here’s a couple shots from Elizabeth.
We’ll be back inside Wednesday night, opening for the Pogues tribute Thursdsay night and finishing up Friday night. Hope to see some folks.

Cross country homecoming

Meet James Strickland, 39, now back in Aberdeen.
He just finished a 2,500 mile walk from Longview, Texas, back to his family in Aberdeen carrying that 12-foot, 100-pound wooden cross on wheels. I wrote this story about him a few weeks ago and he showed up yesterday.

A little team spirit

So I shot the Hoquiam High football game last night. Lots of decent game shots, but I also snagged this blurry photo of the Grizzlies’ mascot kicking a kid.
I’m pretty sure they were friends, but it’s still weird to see a person in a bear costume side-kick a teenage kid.
