Trees come in many sizes.
Liz and I went up to Lake Quinault on Sunday as sort of a last little trip. We visited the Olympic National Forest in an area that gets an average of 12 feet of rain a year. It’s considered a rainforest. We saw huge trees and took pictures.

An Irish cover band hit the Blue Spark in downtown Spokane on Saturday. I was lucky enough to run into Brian for a couple drinks while he told me about his new job.

Amazing, and disturbing. “The Wind that Shakes the Barley” is one of those movies that makes you feel like you’ve been kicked in the stomach. In sort of a good way.
